What we do
Abacus Computer Fairs hold computer fair selling events in The Northwest of England. We use high profile well known venues for staging one day computer sales events on a weekly basis.
Our Traders include some of the largest and best wholesale dealers in the country. We also have local Northwest retailers and resellers attending.
So whats the deal?....its simply this, the dealer attending gets access to large numbers of customes attending the Computer Fair on the day, so in effect has the opportunity to sell his goods in bulk.
Coupled to this, the low overheads the trader has on the day, then enables him to literally cut the price down to the level that his large bulk purchasing customers pay.
This means that you as the customer buying in low quantities, effectively get access to the same deal as major national bulk purchasers that usually have to spend many thousands of pounds to acheive the level of discount you will receive.
Why buy from the internet?....when you can attend the Computer Fair and meet and talk with the Trader face to face, get one to one advice, and more importantley see and handle the goods before you part with your money.
So whats the catch?....well there isn't one. Your guarantee is the same as buying from a shop, which many of our traders have. The dealer is happy to sell to you at a reduced rate, you get a deal that can literally mean up to 60% off the high street price, and your full guarantee stands as if you had boiught from a regular shop.

A. Absolutely, many customers attending save up to 60% off the High St price
Q. Will the goods have a warranty
A. Yes, all new electrical items must carry a 12 month guarantee by law. Second user equipment have varying warranties, ensure you establish what these are prior to purchasing
Q. Why do you charge an admission charge
A. Abacus charge a small admission fee into the Computer Fair to offset the charge made to the trader. This encourages the trader to sell at lower prices. You should make your admission fee back on your first purchase when it is offset against the discount you will receive on your goods
Q. Is the dealer really happy to sell at such discounted prices
A. Yes, in the computer industry turnover is king. If the dealer can attend an Abacus Computer Fair and sell his stock off in bulk (singularly to many customers), then he is very happy to do that.
Q. What can I expect to find at an Abacus Computer Fair
A. A typical fair will have everything you would need for your computing needs. Including full PC systems, from starter to cutting edge technology. Printers, Ink, CD/DVD media. Software, cables, mobile phones, MP3 players, MP4 players, Laptops, LCD Monitors, second user equipment etc. The list is endless!
